Painting during the pandemic

Just finished this painting in which I express how this social distancing feels to me: detached, angry and hopeful. I used a photograph that I took of this monkey during my travel to Bali, Indonesia, at the monkey forest at Ubud. I found her sitting on a stone wall trying to ignore the droves of tourists that invaded her space. Her body gesture and facial expression caught my attention.
